Inspiring Vacations Contest – Terms and Conditions

Entry into this Campaign is deemed as acceptance of the terms and conditions set out below. 1000 Mile Travel Group and Inspiring Vacations (Sponsor) reserve the right to vary the terms and conditions at any time in their absolute discretion and without notice.

Eligibility: This campaign is only open to Australian residents who are 18 years old at the date they submit an entry into this campaign. Participants can enter into this competition by submitting a form at https://go.travelctm.com/1000MTG-Escapes-Dream-Destination-Contest.html

Employees of Corporate Travel Management Limited, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and suppliers, (collectively the “Employees”), and immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of Employees are not eligible to participate in the Campaign. The Campaign is subject to all applicable laws. 1000 Mile Travel Group and the Sponsor reserve the right to verify the eligibility of participants. If You submit an entry, You agree to allow usage of your entry in future 1000 Mile Travel Group Escapes content. In addition, You agree to accept the decisions of 1000 Mile Travel Group and the Sponsor as final and binding as they relate to this Campaign.

Campaign Period: The campaign commences on 9 September 2024, at 9 AM AEST and ends 7 October 2024 at 9 AM AEST. All entries must be received by 1000 Mile Travel Group before 7 October 2024 at 9 AM AEST.

How to Enter: The Campaign must be entered by submitting an entry using the online form provided at escapes.1000miletravel.com/?. To be an eligible entry into the Campaign, the Participant must complete the form as per the instructions on the entry form. Entries that are incomplete or do not adhere to these terms and conditions may be disqualified at the sole discretion of 1000 Mile Travel Group.

You may only enter the Campaign once. You may not enter more than once by using multiple email addresses, identities, or devices in an attempt to circumvent the rules. If You use fraudulent methods or otherwise attempt to circumvent the rules, Your entry may be removed from eligibility at the sole discretion of 1000 Mile Travel Group.

Prize: There will be one winner of the Campaign (Winner). The prize is a 7-day best of Japan tour package arranged by the sponsor. Winner will get to choose from two select departure dates operated by the Sponsor: 25 May 2025, or 8 June 2025. This prize includes 7-Day Best of Japan holiday for two people, twin share, land only. The prize does not include international airfare, flights, travel insurance, personal expenses, or any other costs, items of a personal nature, or optional programs or activities. The winner has to book by 30 November 2024. The prize is subject to availability and Inspiring Vacations’ booking conditions. The prize is non-transferable and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. Any and all prize-related expense shall be the sole responsibility of Winner. No substitution of prize or transfer/assignment of prize to others or request for the cash equivalent by Winner is permitted. Acceptance of prize constitutes permission for 1000 Mile Travel Group to use Winner’s name, likeness, and entry verbiage for purposes of advertising and trade without further compensation unless prohibited by law. The Sponsor and 1000 Mile Travel Group accept no responsibility for any variation in

prize value and reserve the right to substitute the prize in whole (or any of its components). The Winner must engage 1000 Mile Travel Escapes to co-ordinate their booking of the prize. Any additional content booked may incur a service fee.

Winner Selection and Notification: Winner will be selected by 1000 Mile Group Travel by random selection on 8 October 2024. Winner will be notified by email and telephone, within 5 business days following selection of the Winner. 1000 Mile Travel Group shall have no liability for Winner’s failure to receive notices due to spam, junk email, or other security settings or for Winner’s provision of incorrect or otherwise non-functioning contact information. If Winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible, fails to claim the prize within 5 days from the time award notification was sent, or fails to return the requisite paperwork in the specified timeframe, the prize may be forfeited, and an alternate Winner may be selected at 1000 Mile Travel Group and the Sponsor’s discretion.

Rights Granted by You: By entering this contest You understand and agree 1000 Mile Travel Group, anyone acting on behalf of 1000 Mile Travel Group and 1000 Mile Travel Group ’s licensees, successors, and assigns, shall have the right, where permitted by law, to print, publish, broadcast, distribute, and use in any media now known or hereafter developed, in perpetuity and throughout the world, without limitation, your entry, name, statements about the Campaign, and biographical information for news, publicity, information, trade, advertising, public relations, and promotional purposes without any further compensation, notice, review, or consent. By entering this contest, You represent and warrant that your entry does not violate any third party’s proprietary or intellectual property rights. If your entry infringes upon the intellectual property right of another, You will be disqualified at the sole discretion of 1000 Mile Travel Group. If the content of your entry is claimed to constitute infringement of any proprietary or intellectual proprietary rights of any third party, You shall, at your sole expense, defend or settle against such claims. You shall indemnify, defend, and hold harmless 1000 Mile Travel Group from and against any suit, proceeding, claims, liability, loss, damage, costs, or expense, which 1000 Mile Travel Group may incur, suffer, or be required to pay arising out of such infringement or suspected infringement of any third party’s right.

1000 Mile Travel Group and the Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the Campaign in their sole discretion. In such case, 1000 Mile Travel Group may select the Winner from all eligible entries received prior to and/or after (if appropriate) the action taken by 1000 Mile Travel Group. 1000 Mile Travel Group reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers or attempts to tamper with the entry process or the operation of the Campaign or website or violates these Terms & Conditions. 1000 Mile Travel Group has the right, in its sole discretion, to maintain the integrity of the Campaign, to void votes for any reason, including, but not limited to: multiple entries from the same user from different IP addresses; multiple entries from the same computer in excess of that allowed by Campaign rules; or the use of bots, macros, scripts, or other technical means for entering. Any attempt by an entrant to deliberately damage any website or undermine the legitimate operation of the Campaign may be a violation of criminal and civil laws. Should such an attempt be made, 1000 Mile Travel Group reserves the right to seek damages to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Limitation of Liability: Insofar as is permitted by law, the Sponsor and 1000 Mile Travel Group will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the Winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury, or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize. By entering, You agree to release and hold harmless the Sponsor, 1000 Mile Travel Group and their subsidiaries, affiliates,

advertising and promotion agencies, partners, representatives, agents, successors, assigns, employees, officers, and directors from any liability, illness, injury, death, loss, litigation, claim, or damage that may occur, directly or indirectly, whether caused by negligence or not, from: (i) Your participation in the Campaign and/or Your acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize or any portion thereof; (ii) technical failures of any kind, including but not limited to the malfunction of any computer, cable, network, hardware, or software, or other mechanical equipment; (iii) the unavailability or inaccessibility of any transmissions, telephone, or Internet service; (iv) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the Promotion; (v) electronic or human error in the administration of the Promotion or the processing of entries.

Jurisdiction: This campaign is governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. As a condition of participating in this Campaign, You agree that, in the event of any dispute regarding the competition, the decision of the Sponsor and 1000 Mile Travel Group shall be final and no correspondence will be entered into.

Privacy: 1000 Mile Travel Group and the Sponsor collect entrants’ personal information in order to conduct the promotion. If the information requested is not provided, the entrant may not participate in the promotion.
